We have an exciting opportunity for a principal advisor to the chief executive who will provide strategic advice on a range of areas to ensure that Council’s vision is realised. The role has variety galore and you will enjoy providing advice, interpreting data and trend analysis, co-ordinate responses to requests for official information requests and monitoring emerging needs and interests.
Our ideal candidate will have an analytical mind, be adept at researching and analysing information, be able to communicate information appropriate to the target audience and be able to relate to a wide range of customers and issues. Ideally you will have a legal or policy qualification and had five plus years’ experience in an analytical role but most importantly you will be a team player with a fantastic “can do” attitude.
