About the role

We have an opportunity for a technical administrator to join our building solutions team. The building control coordinator provides administrative and processing support to our building control team, is the first point of contact for our customers and provides excellent customer service that ensures we meet our statutory requirements under the Building Act 2004. 

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • answer queries and provide information on building control to internal and external stakeholders
  • with the support of the wider team, ensure advice provided, processing timeframes, and building documentation meets the quality and regulatory standards sets by the Building Act 2004 
  • manage the inspection schedule to enable best use of resources and seamless customer service delivery
  • allocate and monitor work sent to external contractors for quality and timeliness
  • prepare and provide quality building documentation and reports 

To be successful in this role you will:
